Kids Can Cook

In week one we had a visit by Chris from Kids Can Cook. Ella was selected to be his Sous Chef, she did an amazing job keeping calm amongst the chaos of crepes landing on the roof and on the floor. The filling was grated apple and chopped silverbeet. We learnt about the different areas of our tongues that taste different flavours and found out that sweet (apple) and bitter (silverbeet) makes a savoury taste. Finally we all got to be Taste Testers with mixed opinions on the final result. We are looking forward to trying out our own ideas at home.
